It's 12.30 h. The ceramic bell picks up the soundswaves in the public space of the hospital. A rumbling and buzzing of people having lunch wave through the pipes to the copper bell. There like a sheet of air the voice of the public space falls over the patient's bed..

With Sound Space the patient can choose to be in contact with the mood of the public space. In a room shared with other patients it creates a smaller place around the bed. By breaking the silence it gives the opportunity to not tune in to the other patient's moaning or private conversations.
